Job Description

@hand is looking for Project Managers who will manage and oversee the end-to-end implementation of @hand’s market-leading software products and delivery of professional services. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, as well as an ability to function as a business analyst that can guide and manage the creative direction of the solution in highly complex customer environments. Importantly, we are not looking for project organizers, but project executors who can lead small and focused teams that provide technical software services, specialized consulting, and world-class process improvement to customers. In this role, you will be exposed to innovative and forward-thinking implementations of mobile and wireless technologies for Fortune 500 companies and Federal government agencies.

Responsibilities

• You will work with customers to define timelines, objectives, and expectations, then manage the collaborative effort of an @hand team to execute project tasks to meet those objectives and expectations
• You will maintain detailed schedules and plan for delivery on all project tasks, ensuring that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget
• You will interact directly with the customer to help solve their business problems
• You will work with @hand sales teams, product management, and development to ensure organizational alignment and resolve issues that impact solution delivery
• You will develop documentation and deliver presentations, both to customers and internal teams
• You must be willing to travel between 25%-50%

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in software technology, ideally in Enterprise software environments
• Minimum of 3 years of practical functional experience with managing complex projects
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong practical experience with the Microsoft .NET software platform
• Experience with relational databases, especially SQL Server and Oracle
• Experience with mobile & wireless technologies preferred, but not required
• BS / MS in Computer Science or related field
• U.S. citizens and permanent residents only
