@hand Announces Smith International as a Strategic Customer

After two successful @hand mobile solution deployments, Smith International plans a strategic implementation of @hand across its energy services businesses.

HOUSTON - March 2, 2010 - @hand today announces that Smith International has made a strategic commitment to @hand for field mobility software solutions. Smith, a leading provider of products and services to the oil and gas industry, will deploy @hand's Field Mobility System (FMS) across its operating segments.

With @hand software, Smith's field service and warehouse teams are reducing their reliance on paper-based processes and migrating to mobility applications and an electronic field ticketing process. The new mobile solutions will help to ensure invoice accuracy, as well as improve inventory visibility and enhance service levels. In addition, Smith expects to improve time-to-invoice and DSO metrics.
