@hand Announces New Mobile Application for PeopleSoft Customers

Company launches Beta Program for early adopter customers.

September 23, 2013 - AUSTIN, TX - @hand is announcing a new mobile application product along with a corresponding Beta Program. The new application, @hand Tyrian, is designed as a mobile complement to Oracle PeopleSoft Maintenance Management, and it is available through @hand's application library.

The @hand application library provides a pre-configured collection of mobile solutions that align with popular ERP/EAM systems, such as Oracle E-Business Suite, IBM Maximo, and now Oracle PeopleSoft. With support for iOS and Android platforms, Tyrian provides mobile workers with the ability to execute important maintenance management functions, such as updating work orders, completing tasks and checklists, and capturing labor.

"Tyrian represents an exciting opportunity for @hand to build on the company’s experience in the PeopleSoft market,” according to Rob Beauchamp, @hand’s Vice President of Field Operations. “Now with a packaged product optimized for PeopleSoft, customers can expect top-tier quality and software performance, as well as rapid time-to-market.”

Based on @hand’s patented Field Mobility System (FMS) software architecture, Tyrian leverages important technology advantages, such as offline application use, built-in security, and role-specific data distribution. @hand FMS also provides a rapid configuration environment to tailor applications to specific business needs.

The @hand Beta Program allows selected customers to begin a mobile implementation in advance of the general release of the product. Contact @hand to learn more about the program, or to apply on behalf of your organization.
