John Cannington
CEO

John has served as @hand President and CEO since 2001. In this role, John develops and implements @hand’s overall business strategy and go to market model to drive sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction. John offers extensive global success in developing, leading, and managing enterprise software organizations. Prior to @hand, John’s accomplishments include serving as Director of Worldwide Operations for J.D. Edwards, where John was responsible for formulating the global operating plan and implementing high performance concepts and techniques throughout the worldwide sales and service organization of 1500 employees. John later joined Manugistics as Senior Vice President of Field Operations to develop and manage a high-growth global field organization that sold and supported supply chain planning solutions. John has also held executive positions with emerging-market software companies such as Excalibur Technologies, daly.commerce, and OmniSpace. John earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Virginia.

Mike Loos
Chief Technology Officer, Founder

Mike became the Chief Technology Officer of @hand in 1998 when he co-founded the company. Since that time, he has been responsible for overseeing the long-term product strategy for the company, as well as the development of its core technology and infrastructure. Prior to @hand, Mike was an engineer at Borealis Technology (also known as Sierra Software), focused on that company’s mobile computing platforms. Before Borealis, Mike was an early employee at Wonderware, developing man-machine interface and distributed manufacturing execution software, and as a control engineer at Chevron, working on distributed automation systems worldwide. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston.

Jason Lanier
Vice President, Products

Jason coordinates and manages the process of shaping @hand’s world-class software technology into successful commercial products. Since joining the company in 2000, Jason’s role has evolved from product management and solution consulting to current responsibilities that include marketing and product strategy. In his current role, Jason manages @hand's marketing activities such as messaging, demand generation, and content development.  Jason also works with cross-functional leadership to align product strategy and tactics with the company's mission of customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.  Prior to @hand, Jason worked as a pre-sales engineer and software consultant at Trilogy Software, where he implemented complex pricing systems for Fortune 500 businesses. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in product design engineering from Stanford University.

Peggy McKinney
Vice President, Administration

Peggy is responsible for @hand’s administrative and operations infrastructure, including Human Resources and Accounting. Joining @hand as one of its first employees in 1999, Peggy’s contributions have been critical in managing the long-term growth and success of the company. In her current role, Peggy also works with @hand Sales and Services teams to implement and enforce contractual requirements and with @hand’s Board of Directors, providing corporate governance. Prior to @hand, Peggy worked as budget director for Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, where she managed the global engineering budget for research and development and for various early-stage software companies to develop and implement corporate infrastructure in the areas of Human Resources, Accounting, Facilities Management, Purchasing, and Shareholder Relations.

Rob Beauchamp
Vice President, Field Operations

As the VP of Field Operations, Rob is responsible for leading, evolving, and innovating the @hand Solution Delivery and Business Development teams.  In Delivery, Rob manages an ever-growing project and services demand while continuing to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and profitability.  With Business Development, Rob manages strategic relationships within the enterprise mobility ecosystem to further enable growth and expansion.  Prior to @hand, he most recently served as the VP of Product Management at LibreDigital, where he led the effort to augment the company’s cloud-based digital warehousing and e-distribution solutions with a mobile content engagement solution for the publishing industry. Previously, as a senior leader at Sun Microsystems, Rob drove the creation of a best-of-breed open-source middleware platform based on the enterprise Java standard. Rob also founded Journée Software, a master data management solution which was acquired by Initiate Systems, an IBM company. Rob holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Analysis and Research from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
