Job Description

@hand is a growing enterprise mobile software company based in Austin, Texas. We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager responsible for the QA of our products and solutions. You will help develop QA standards, define metrics and oversee the implementation and execution of test plans and regression tests. You will be involved in hiring personnel for the QA group and oversee their work. As part of your role, you will interact with members of the development and support teams on a regular basis.

An ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with solid software development and QA background who can work individually and help develop a growing team. You should have experience with a variety of software QA tools and be able to apply QA principles to @hand’s software development and release process.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality assurance standards
• Define and track QA metrics
• Develop, publish and implement test plans
• Write and maintain automated tests
• Participate in selection and adoption of QA tools
• Lead and direct work of other test engineers

Experience

• Professional hands-on experience in software quality assurance methodologies
• 5 or more years of experience coding in C, C++, Java or C#
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with Windows environments
• Experience with Microsoft .NET software platform and the C# language preferred
• Experience with relational databases preferred
• BS / MS in Computer Science or related field
• U.S. citizens and permanent residents only
